Pray All The Way!

Sep 07, 2017

Sunday Pray showed them a clean pair of heels yesterday afternoon at Sandown by leading all the way in the Drew Morphett Handicap.

The son of Manhattan Rain has been a model of consistency for his connections winning three races from 11 starts with a further three placings on the board.

Rated beautifully in front by stable apprentice Chelsea Hall, Sunday Pray took full advantage of the leader bias track and was drawing away again on the line to score a strong victory.

Trainer John Moloney was thrilled with the victory and the way the new season has started for the stable and explained that Sunday Pray will now head to a similar race in a fortnight's time.

In other stable news it was great to see Flying Jess resume at Caulfield last Saturday with a barnstorming second in the Group 3 Cockram Stakes showing she is going to be in for a huge spring carnival.

Flying Jess will now head to the Group 2 Let's Elope Stakes over 1400m at Flemington on Saturday week.
