Rosenstrasse brought up her second career win at her thirteenth start on Saturday at Bendigo, winning in dominating fashion with Tahlia Hope in the saddle in the BM58 Handicap over 1600m.

Settling down at the rear of the field, the race was run at a quick tempo to suit the backmarker, after two eye-catching runs prior this preparation from back in the field. Hope sent the Hallowed Crown mare straight to the outside of the field on straightening, with the four-year-old unleashing an impressive turn-of-foot to zip past the field and win by 3.25 lengths on the line.

The daughter of Matron, and half-sister to Legionnaire, looks to have more success in store for her and we hope she can continue to go on with it after that confidence-boosting win.

Congratulations to Rosenstrasse’s owner-breeders Meridy Taite and Julie Sampson, as well as all of the team at Moloney Racing!
