Artie’s Dynamite brought home his second-career win at Echuca on Friday, beautifully ridden by Teo Nugent in the Benchmark 52 Handicap over the 1600 metre distance.

It was a well-deserved win for the 4-year-old gelding by Artie Schiller, having been bobbing around the placings in his eight runs this campaign, he bounced back into the winners stall in good style following his maiden success back in April last year.

Settling down in the back half of the field, Nugent set sail on Artie’s Dynamite at the 600 metre mark, straightening up in the middle of the track and storming home to win by three-quarters-of-a-length on the line.

Congratulations to the connections of Artie’s Dynamite and all of the hard working team at Moloney Racing!
