Artie’s Dynamite recorded his maiden win at his fifth-start at Sale on Sunday, coming from last-to-first to win impressively in the 3-year-old Maiden Plate over 1411 metres.

Given a beautiful ride by champion jockey Luke Nolan, the Artie Schiller gelding settled down at the rear of the field from barrier 7 in the field of eight and tracked into the race nicely from the 800 metres, before gaining clear running in the straight to storm home to win by a nose on the line.

It was a well-deserved win for Artie’s Dynamite who has shown promise since his first-up third placing at Sale four starts back over 1000 metres, and we expect him to continue to improve with a confidence-boosting win now under his belt.

Congratulations to the connections of Artie’s Dynamite and all of the team at Moloney Racing!
