Charming Di was ultra impressive first-up on Thursday at Pakenham, putting her second-career-win on the board at just her fifth start.

Settling fourth on the fence off the back of a good tempo over the 1000 metres, the three-year-old Rubick filly was able to straighten up and get a run at the 300 metre mark, and was driven to the line for an easy 0.75 length win by jockey Teo Nugent.

With plenty of improvement to come from her first-up tilt, Charming Di looks to be in for an exciting preparation ahead, with Nugent adamant she has better wins ahead of her at a city-class level, and we will see the best of her once she gets to 1200 metres.

Congratulations to Paul Shannon and all of the team at Moloney Racing!
