Charming Di scored her maiden win in ultra impressive style over 1117 meters on Sunday at Moe, at just her second race start.
Settling three-back on the fence after a tardy getaway, the two-year-old Rubick filly was able to weave her way through the field to get to the outside on straightening, and was driven to the line for an easy two-length win by jockey Teo Nugent.
Displaying good talent at her debut at Cranbourne a fortnight earlier where she ran home nicely from back in the field to run third, Charming Di shows every bit of promise that she will continue to progress through her grades after quickly knocking over her maiden in smart fashion.
Congratulations to Paul Shannon and all of the team at Moloney Racing!
