Fine Rebel got her maiden win on the board in impressive style in the 1600 metre maiden plate at Moe on Thursday, with 2kg-claiming apprentice Luke Campbell in the saddle.

Rated beautifully in front by Campbell on the Heavy 8 surface, the three-year-old Rebel Raider filly relished the conditions, kicking away on the home turn and winning by a long neck on the line to the second place-getter, Kerkorian.

A daughter of the previous Moloney-trained galloper Fine Feelings, Fine Rebel has now recorded a first, second and third placing at her 6 outings to date, and with her first assault at the mile distance a winning one she looks to have plenty of upside following her impressive performance.

Congratulations to all of her connections, as well as the hard working team at Moloney Racing!
