Exciting two-year-old, Brunot, brought up a second win for the Moloney stable this week, winning in fine fashion over 1400m on Sunday at Ballarat.

Relishing the synthetic surface, Brunot was given a soft run early by Patrick Moloney, settling down last, before circling the field and showing a brilliant turn of foot in the concluding stages, winning by half a length on the line.

The Husson colt had shown plenty of ability at home in his training, and it was no surprise for the stable to see him salute at his second start in weaker company, having gained plenty of experience at his debut in a strong race at Sandown two weeks prior.

With the colt still learning and crying out for more ground going forward, Brunot looks to have a bright future ahead of him.

Congratulations to Paul Shannon and all of the hard working staff at Moloney Racing!
