Can’t Remember certainly made sure he wasn’t forgotten on Friday, when he demolished his rivals in the 1600m BM58 at Racing.com Park Synthetic at Pakenham.

The 4-year-old, ridden by Michael Walker, settled down three-back-the-fence and travelled sweetly throughout the running where he just needed a change of luck from his last start where he was held up in the straight at the same track and distance. The heavens opened at the top of the straight, offering a saloon passage for the Statue Of Liberty gelding to sprint away to the line, winning by just under 5 lengths on the line.

With a love of the synthetic surface, John is hopeful that there are more wins in store for Can’t Remember utilising these tracks over the coming months, where the gelding can enjoy the firmer surface, and the extra confidence he has now gained.

Well done to all the connections of Can’t Remember and all of the hard-working team at Moloney Racing!
