Dictionary put pay to his rivals at Mornington on Sunday, relishing the step-up in distance to 2400 metres, and notching his second-career win at his sixteenth start with Teo Nugent in the saddle.

Out of Collins, a full-sister to Maybe Diva, and by champion sire All Too Hard, Dictionary was given a superb ride by Nugent. Settling down at the rear of the field off the strong tempo, Nugent put the four-year-old into the race 600 metres from home down the side, before hitting the front at the 400 metres and running away on straightening to win by 3 lengths on the line.

The lightly-raced gelding, who brought up his maiden win over 1600 metres in February, is certainly bred to stay, and now that he is up in trip with this confidence-boosting win under his belt we hope to see him continue on his winning way.

Congratulations to the connections of Dictionary, and all of the hard working team at Moloney Racing!
