Fine Rebel scored a well-deserved victory on Thursday night at Pakenham, having been right around the mark at her previous three runs this preparation.

Beginning well over the 1600 metre distance, Jordan Childs gave the 4-year-old Rebel Raider mare a beautiful ride, settling her down in the one-one position and coming down the outside in the home straight to win by three-quarters of a length in the 0-64 Handicap.

Relishing the sting out of the ground on the Soft 5 surface, Fine Rebel has now finished in the top three 7 times from her 13 race starts, with over $80K in prize money for her connections.

A home-bred by John and a daughter of the previous Moloney-trained galloper Fine Feelings, we look forward to seeing Fine Rebel continue her preparation in style, with every possibility she can find some metropolitan form over the winter months on wet tracks.

Congratulations to all connections of Fine Rebel, and the team at Moloney Racing!
