First winner by Americain
Américain if off to a perfect start at Stud with his first runner Folk Magic winning on debut at Woodbine over 1200m. Folk Magic is out of a Johannesburg Mare and holds a nomination for the world famous breeders cup meeting later this year- a clear sign of the ability it has shown as a two year old.
Americain throwing early two year old winners in his first season may have surprised some, as his most famous win was over 3200m in the Melbourne cup. However, Americain also won on Debut as a two year old at Chantilly and there is plenty of speed on his Dam’s side through Arazi. Americain is by Dynaformer who is a proven American stallion who has thrown 130 stakes winners.
Moloney Racing is lucky enough to acquired a yearling by Americain at the Melbourne Premier sale and still has limited shares remaining. The yearling is out of a city performed mare and is closely related to many stakes winners including Toledo and Scorpio Queen. The pedigree has been attached for viewing below.
