Flying Rex added another win to the Moloney Racing team’s streak of success, breaking his maiden at Yarra Valley on Tuesday with Jarrod Fry in the saddle.

The Flying Artie gelding was having just his fifth-race start in the 1540 metre maiden, and coming off a good second-placing at Geelong the start prior.

With a confident ride from barrier two, Fry settled Flying Rex outside the leader and the three-year-old kicked away once called upon in the final 200 metres to win comfortably by 1.5 lengths.

It has been an incredible few months for the Moloney camp, and a brilliant month of December for the team since the big move to our new stables at Cranbourne.

Congratulations to the connections of Flying Rex and all of the team at Moloney Racing!
