Nothing is sweeter than a home track victory, and it certainly was a sweet occasion on Easter Saturday, when Graceful Storm saluted at Caulfield in the “Geoff Murphy Handicap” over 1100 metres.

The three-year-old who was perfectly ridden by Dwayne Dunn, brought up win number three from eleven starts, amassing $250,000 in prizemoney. Allowing her to have a smooth run in transit and clear galloping room in the straight, Dunn was able to manifest the luck that she was well overdue.

Failing to come up during the Spring where she had four unplaced runs, this preparation has proved a different story. After two luckless runs back this time in which went unnoticed by punters, John Moloney was confident on Saturday that the Hinchinbrook filly was finally back to her best.

Now with two Saturday-grade winners under her belt, John believes that Graceful Storm has the potential to add a stakes race to her trophy cabinet.

Congratulations to all of the loyal connections of Graceful Storm!
