Maddox set the turf alight at Ballarat on Tuesday, cantering in with her ears pricked to record an easy five-length win at her sixth race start.

Jumping from barrier 6, Jarrod Fry sent the Deep Field filly straight to the front of the 8 horse field, controlling the race for the duration of the 1100m Class 1 Handicap, before letting Maddox unleash an impressive acceleration to the line.

Recording her second career win for owners and breeders, Meridy Taite and Julie Sampson, the three-year-old looks to be an improving type with plenty to look forward to in the near future.

Congratulations to Meridy and Julie, and all of the hardworking team at Moloney Racing!
