Milton Park continued to impress the team at Pakenham Synthetic on Friday, going back-to-back at the same track and distance as he impressively won his maiden just over a fortnight ago.

In what was a strangely run race, jockey Jarrod Fry may have stolen the Class 1 Handicap from the barriers with his smart and confident ride. The Written Tycoon gelding flew the coop, and with his big, bold stride, was allowed to find his comfort zone, leading by four lengths in the early stages. Managing a sneaky mid-race breather, Fry balanced the promising three-year-old up and he cruised to the line to win by 1.25 lengths.

Owned and bred by Julie Sampson and Meridy Taite, the son of Gawne is still learning his trade and looks to have a nice future in store, with two wins from only four career starts.

Congratulations to Julie and Meridy, and all of the hardworking team at Moloney Racing!
