Milton Park was too classy for his competition at Cranbourne on Sunday, notching his fifth-career-win at only his thirteenth start in the BM78 Handicap over 1400 metres.

Perfectly placed just behind the leaders in running by Melbourne Cup-winning jockey, Jye McNeil, the Written Tycoon gelding was unable to be restrained any slower from the 500 metre mark, cruising three-wide around the home-turn, and storming home to win by 1.25 lengths on the line.

Milton Park, who was bred by loyal Moloney Racing owners, Julie Sampson and Meridy Taite, from their Stakes-winning Flying Spur mare, Gawne, has continued to add to the fairytale success of his family, having now clocked over $300,000 in prize money.

The four-year-old will now look towards some of the Country Cups over the Spring Carnival after his confidence-boosting win on Sunday.

Congratulations to Julie and Meridy, and all of the hard working team at Moloney Racing!
