Four-year-old, Sir Harald, brought up his second win from 15 starts at Sale on Thursday, capping off a brilliant week for Team Moloney after a stakes winner at Flemington on Saturday with Legionnaire.

Managing to slot in one off the fence from the outside barrier into a midfield position, “Harry” travelled beautifully for Dan Stackhouse before making his run for home before the corner, and proving far too good in the finish over the 1409m.

The gelding by Street Boss appreciated having his first-up run last start under his belt where finished off strongly for fourth over 1300m at Seymour, and looks like he will only get stronger the further in trip he gets.

Stackhouse said that the gelding has a few quirks and doesn’t like racing inside horses, nor is he a fan of the persuader, yet once he found the outside in the straight, he managed to find enough under strong hands-and-heels riding to get the job done.

Congratulations to Gabby Moloney and all of the connections of Sir Harald, as well as the hard working team at Moloney Racing!
