Saturday provided the stable with the perfect ending to the year. The double was our 14th winner for the season and the 6th in town.
The first of our runners for the day was the exciting Graceful Storm. Graceful storm was coming of a impressive debut win at Bendigo. Patrick Moloney sat just off the speed and angled her out into the middle of the track and although she did a few things wrong up the straight, her talent prevailed and she remained unbeaten.
Graceful Storm was $110,000 purchase in the magic millions sale in January. She is by Hinchinbrook and is closely related to recent group one winner, MontoyasSecret. After yesterdays win she has taken her earnings past her purchase price and looks to have a bright future ahead.
Our dayonly gotbetter after we saddled up tough campaigner Orient Line. Orient line rolled to the top mid race and enjoyed a solid run and was too tough for his rivals in the concluding stages. He went on to win by a length and register his 6th career win. Orient line has now taken his earnings to over $330,000 andcontinues to race at his best .
