The Gerard Moloney trained, Youl Thrashem, brought up her fourth career victory from 28 starts on Thursday at Seymour, taking out the BM58 Handicap over 1100 meters.

Given a lovely, patient ride by Luke Nolan, the Bel Esprit mare settled at the back of the field on the fence, before angling out for clear galloping room at the top of the straight. Once the mare got to the outside of the field, she stormed home to win comfortably by half-a-length on the line.

First up from a spell, the seven-year-old sprinter is racing in career-best form and enjoyed getting back onto a soft 7 surface on Thursday. With her ability to handle wet tracks, we are sure that going forward in her preparation there are more wins in store for her.

Congratulations to Gerard and all of her connections!
